Indiana Veterans’ Quilts

Our next delivery date will be FALL 2018

Beginning in 2012, Heritage Quilters began coordination of quilts to be given to the Indiana Veterans’ Home in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Any quilts from lap size to twin bed size are accepted towards this worthy endeavor.  They could be completely finished quilts, tops only, backs only, blocks or fabrics.  Monetary donations are also accepted towards larger purchases like batting and backing fabrics.

Quilts do not have to be red/white/blue in order to be donated to the Indiana Veteran’s Home.  The quilts could be made with masculine colors or feminine colors as there are approximately 210 men and 60 women residents.

Guild members present 37 additional quilts, 42 American Flags for the lining the driveway and 42 personal hygiene items to the Veteran’s Home.
